This weekend (July 9th/10th) Chalk attended their first event as a group; the Ponderosa War Weekend held at the Ponderosa Theraputic Centre, Heckmondwike in Yorkshire. The weather was pretty good and considering it rained on and off this still didn't dampen our spirits! We portrayed a 12th battalion, Devonshire regiment Anti-tank crew complete with the group's own Airborne 6pdr AT gun! We were able to dig the gun in properly and also dig out a sleeping area for the crew, which is rare for most public shows! Here are just a couple of pics until we get some more from some of our members.
